Nicole Clarke Luck is the Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Finance for Memorial Hermann’s Physician Enterprise including the Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Independent Physician Network (MHMD), Employed Medical Group (MHMG), Population Services Organization, and Post-Acute Services.
Nicole is responsible for the strategic and operational finance functions within the physician enterprise, which includes evaluation of financial contracting decisions regarding commercial ACO and MSSP arrangements, valuation and due diligence of physician acquisitions, physician compensation structures, financial modeling, and monthly operational financial management. In this capacity, Nicole serves as the CFO for Apex Health Solutions, partnering extensively to improve alignment and performance with Memorial Hermann’s Health Plan.
Nicole is also responsible for strategic Initiatives within the physician enterprise including evaluation of joint ventures, strategic partnerships and physician alignment vehicles. In 2018, Ms. Clarke Luck developed the first Health Care Collaborative in the state of Texas which allowed for the joint venture of independent physicians, a business expert, and a provider system to jointly take risk on given populations.
In addition, Nicole is responsible for the oversight of operational performance and business development activities related to direct to employer solutions as well as providing oversight and direction of business intelligence, analytics, and development of value-based payment models.
Nicole graduated from James Madison University with BS in Health Care Administration and Business. She has worked in various facets of healthcare finance including corporate finance, investment banking and private equity.
